Dong-A Pharm MelaToning Cream is an OTC pigmentation treatment cream designed for gradual care of hyperpigmented skin. It is formulated with Hydroquinone USP 20mg, equal to Hydroquinone 2%, and is used for targeted treatment of excessive melanin pigmentation, freckles, melasma, liver spots, and age spots.

Compared with Dong-A Pharm’s 4% Hydroquinone product, MelaNosa Cream, MelaToning Cream contains half the hydroquinone concentration, making it a milder 2% option for pigmentation care. Its milky white cream texture is suitable for spot application on affected pigmented areas.

This product is intended for targeted use, not full-face application. Daytime sunscreen is very important while using hydroquinone products.

How To Use:
Before regular use, perform a 24-hour patch test on a small area such as behind the ear or inside the arm. If no irritation occurs, apply a thin layer only to the affected pigmented area 1time daily, before bedtime. Use sunscreen during the daytime and reapply every 2–3 hours when outdoors.

Important Notes:
This is an OTC medicine, not a regular cosmetic cream. Apply only to pigmented areas, not the whole face. Avoid the eye area, lips, wounds, irritated skin, and broken skin. Stop using and consult a doctor or pharmacist if redness, swelling, itching, irritation, or discomfort occurs. Do not use during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or on children unless advised by a healthcare professional.
